ITunes 12.10.6.2 (Microsoft Store version) Have used the updated version which is the Windows build With no success it executes with no (error)message Mp4tags.exe -picture sample.png sample.mp4 With no success same story as with Mp3tag, I can apply and it's visible in the app, but not in File Explorer. The picture can been seen in Mp3tag though as if it's applied. After saving it says Saved tag in 1 of 1 files. With no success I can successfully add the image as a cover, but it's not visible in the File Explorer. With no success it creates a file, even though the software says that the operation was successfulĬan't insert any more links, because I got too little rep apparently Adding artwork through the GUI Tag Editor using both available versions: i686-w64 & x86_64-w64.Progress: =>100%|Įxecuting the next (nth) time gives this: Updating metadata. I've tried these methods with numerous MP4 files, none worked. How do I do this successfully / without errors? Keep up the great work guys, I love what you've done so far.I want to add artwork to my MP4 file. I'd like to see others, but the support of these tags at a minimum would make MetaZ arguably the de-facto tagging app on Mac OS X, in my opinion. Now a movie can be tagged in multiple genres, and it will show up in each of those "genre" playlists in my AppleTV. Then, in iTunes, I can build smart playlists built on all of my genres, combining the "genre" and "comments" tags and keywords for genres, and these custom playlists will show up in the AppleTV if you enable the Playlists: All setting in the preferences. It's my way to work around that limiting genre tag. I don't like selecting a single genre for a movie that fits into multiple genres, so I put the primary genre in the genre tag, and then all other genres in this field. Comments (a low priority for some people, I'm sure) but I actually use this field to store additional genres.ContentID (a unique number that is required if you will be pairing multiple resolutions of the same video file, e.g.I haven't been able to write the following tags in MetaZ: I also know that many people have already requested several features, some which I support, others which I couldn't care less about.īut if I may humbly request the support for certain tags, it would make it so that I could use MetaZ exclusively to write my tags in one step, rather than having to use another program after I use MetaZ (right now I'm using Subler, or even MetaX). I realize you guys are doing this for free, in your own spare time, and I respect that. Searching works so much better than it did in MetaX. I didn't like that in MetaX I had to commit to writing all, and then the program was unusable until it was done writing files. I can add files to a queue for writing and still keep editing tags. I'm so excited about having stumbled upon MetaZ. Thank you so much to all who have taken it upon themselves to resurrect (and IMPROVE!) the idea behind MetaX into this great new app.
